Overview
The Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.We are committed to giving our Hospital Medicine providers the innovative tools and support they need to excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial assessments and triage of patients based on relevant information.
- Maintain accurate records of pertinent procedure and laboratory results, discuss with physicians, and return calls to families and patients regarding results and plans.
- Assist with arranging follow-up appointments for patients.
- Respond to phone calls from established patients and their families, assessing their needs and providing guidance.
- Discuss treatment plans with physicians and communicate information to families and patients.
- Orientate patients with necessary preauthorization processes for medications, diagnostic studies, and treatments.
Requirements
A Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies is required. The ideal candidate should possess Basic Life Support Certification and Certified Physician Assistant certification.
