Position Overview
Care for newborns in the nursery setting with experience in newborn inpatient management preferred but willing to train those without.Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour call coverage for the newborn nursery.
- No overnight in-house calls are required.
- Primarily work in an inpatient setting.
- The Geisinger Medical Center has a Level IV NICU with 24/7 backup via telemedicine.

Requirements
A Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required.
Certifications include: Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania), and Basic Life Support Certification.
