What are the responsibilities and job description for the OB/GYN Hospitalist / Laborist position at Geisinger?
The ideal candidate will be a great team player, experience working with midwives and residents and enjoys co-managing with them. In this role you will focus on giving inpatient care to pregnant women, managing labor and delivery on both an emergency and routine basis. GMC has approximately 2000 deliveries per year, and GBH has 500. GMC is also supported by a level IV NICU.
