Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Patient Safety Monitoring Specialist to join our team. This part-time role requires one year of patient care experience. The ideal candidate will monitor and provide support to patients during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure patients are in their rooms on time and remain on their designated floor during overnight hours.
- Conduct regular room checks to verify patient presence.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations.
- Utilize a daily log to communicate with other shifts and report events.
- Leave voice messages for key staff regarding any incidents that occur.
- Maintain current certification in CPR and basic First Aid.
- Attend staff meetings, in-service trainings, and supervision sessions.
This position involves working in a clinical environment and requires the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to maintain confidentiality.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience (Required)
- Basic Life Support Certification (Default Issuing Body) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (American Heart Association (AHA))
