Job Summary
\This position is responsible for providing spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and caregivers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
\Key Responsibilities
\- Provide direct chaplaincy services to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Assess patient, family, and caregiver spiritual needs through consultation with other team members.
- Consult with patients' clergy of choice and advise them on admission.
- Document visits and phone calls in the electronic medical record within a timely manner.
- Offer consultation, counsel, and support to other team members as needed.
Requirements
\To be successful in this role, you will need:
\- Completion of 1 CPE Credit.
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
- Certification(s) and License(s) as required by the institution.
