Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Geisinger. As a key member of our Outpatient Pediatrics department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to children and families.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans to facilitate improved patient functioning and symptom resolution.
  • Provide individual, family, couple, and group psychotherapy as deemed clinically appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the psychiatry team and other healthcare professionals to design and implement clinical programs.
  • Evaluate ongoing biopsychosocial needs of patients, identifying areas for improvement and determining effective treatment plans.

Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field required.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in Pennsylvania is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • A strong understanding of child development, mental health principles, and evidence-based treatments.
