Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic patient care duties, such as taking vital signs and assisting patients with ambulation.
- Assist providers in setting up for minor procedures and gathering supplies and equipment.
- Obtain and accurately document patient information using the rooming tool within the electronic medical record.
- Complete medication review and reinforce patient instructions to enhance patient understanding and adherence to treatment.
- Accompany providers and care team members during patient examinations and assist as directed.
- Provide support and assistance to patients as needed, including collecting and preparing lab specimens.
