Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) will include:
- Assessing patients' respiratory care needs.
- Developing and implementing effective care plans.
- Communicating effectively with other members of the patient care team.
- Performing routine therapeutic modalities.
- Initiating and managing conventional and high-frequency mechanical ventilators.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Graduation from a specialty training program.
- Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification within one year of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification within six months.
- Basic Life Support Certification within six months.
- Pediatric Life Support Certification within six months.
