The Geisinger Heart & Vascular Surgery Institute seeks a full-time physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our growing cardiology practice in the Western Region - State College, Pennsylvania.
The Advanced Practitioner will enjoy a combination practice of outpatient clinic in State College and inpatient consultations at the assigned base hospital. This position offers no call but will have rotating weekend coverage.
- Work under the responsibility and supervision of the physician
- Complete an ARC-PA (or predecessor organization) approved physician assistant program for PAs or be eligible for national certification that allows NPs to work with the patient populations and location settings associated with this position
Education: Master's Degree-Nurse Practitioner (Required)
Certification(s) and License(s): Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania; Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Academy of Nurse Practitioners; Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body
