Overview
The Geisinger Neuroscience Institute is seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join the neurology team at Geisinger Scenery Park in State College, PA.Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will enjoy a full-time outpatient clinic position with no weekends and no call. The team sees a mix of general neurology and subspecialty neurology patients.
To be successful, candidates must meet specific educational and certification requirements:
- Physician Assistant: A graduate of an ARC-approved program, eligible or certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants, and eligible or certified by the State Board of Medicine.
- Nurse Practitioner: A certificate of completion from an approved program for Nurse Practitioners, and eligible for or certified by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Additionally, they must be certified to work with all patient population age groups.
Geisinger's Neuroscience Institute encompasses three main campuses in Danville, Wilkes-Barre, and Scranton, along with locations in State College and Lewistown, Pennsylvania.
