Our Goal
Geisinger's Heart & Vascular Surgery is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed Vascular Surgery Department at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania.Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be an integral part of a dedicated team of vascular surgeons and physician assistants/nurse practitioners at Geisinger Community Medical Center.
To be considered, the Physician Assistant must have graduated from an ARC-approved program and be eligible for certification by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants and the State Board of Medicine.
The Nurse Practitioner candidate should hold a certificate of completion from an approved program and be eligible for or certified by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. The individual must also be certified to work with all patient population age groups.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree-Physician Assistant (Required)
- Master's Degree-Physician Assistant (Preferred)
Certification(s) and License(s)
- Certified Physician Assistant - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Basic Life Support Certification
