Job Title: Spiritual Care Provider
This role offers a unique opportunity to provide spiritual and emotional support directly to patients and their families, caregivers, and team members. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with organization of daily activities as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate will function as a member of the team by attending interdisciplinary team conferences, support meetings, and other meetings as appropriate.
- Assessing each patient, family member, and caregiver for spiritual needs and concerns in consultation with other team members is a critical aspect of this role.
- The chaplain associate will provide direct chaplaincy services to patients, family members, and caregivers of different philosophies and religious perspectives.
- Consultation with the patient's clergy of choice and advising them on admission may be requested by patients or family members.
- Detailed documentation of all visits and phone calls in the electronic medical record within an appropriate time frame is essential.
- Providing consultation, counsel, and support to other team members as appropriate is also a key responsibility.
- Assisting with training programs and in-service education as requested will contribute to the success of this role.
Work Environment:
This role typically performs in a clinical environment. Ensuring accountability for satisfying all job-specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures is crucial.
Position Details:
- Working weekends (Saturday & Sunday), 8am-8:30pm or 8pm-8:30am, is a requirement of this role.

Education Requirements:
A High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) is required for this role.
Certification(s) and License(s):
Completion of 1 Unit of Clinical Pastoral Education and Ordination/Commissioning or Ecclesiastical Endorsement are necessary certifications for this position.
