We are looking for a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Geisinger. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
You will work closely with licensed practitioners to perform sonographic imaging procedures and acquire data needed for diagnosis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sonography principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for exams and administer medications as needed
- Perform sonographic imaging procedures and acquire data needed for diagnosis
- Collaborate with licensed practitioners to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Provide exceptional patient care and education
Requirements:
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent
- Basic Life Support Certification
- 1 year of related work experience preferred
