Geisinger's Heart & Vascular Institute seeks a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our collaborative team in supporting Vascular Surgery at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania.
About the Role
This outpatient clinic position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with no call, no weekends, and no OR coverage. You will work closely with 7 vascular surgeons and 7 PAs/NPs at Geisinger Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and support to the Vascular Surgery department
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in clinical decision-making and contribute to the development of patient treatment plans
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must be a graduate of an ARC-approved physician assistant program, eligible or certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants, and eligible or certified by the State Board of Medicine.
Education
A Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies is required, while a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred) can be beneficial.
