Position: Social Media Coordinator/Content Creator
Reports to: Sr. Marketing Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Part-time
Objective:
The Social Media Coordinator creates content, plans, develops and sets goals for the company’s social media presence in line with the overall brand objectives and strategy. Implement content calendars aligned with company goals and executes. Conduct research on trends, competitors, and audience preferences to create strategies. Propose innovative ideas to increase engagement and reach. This position works in parallel with the Senior Manager of Marketing and the Marketing and Ecomm Manager.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Produce engaging text, image, and video content tailored to each different platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok,).
- Writing captions and posts that align with the brand’s voice and tone.
- Editing photos and videos to meet platform standards.
- Coordinate and create marketing and social media content with the company employees and outside vendors
- Scheduling and posting content consistently across platforms.
- Monitoring comments, messages, and mentions, responding with company voice when appropriate.
- Engagement to foster relationships and overall brand awareness
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as likes, shares, and follower growth.
- Analyzing data to assess campaign success and identify areas for improvement.
- Preparing monthly reports summarizing performance metrics.
- Coordinating with teams to align content with broader initiatives
- Staying updated on products, initiatives or events to promote.
- Ensuring all content reflects the brand’s identity, values, and messaging
- Monitoring online reputation and addressing any issues that arise.
- Keeping up with the latest social media trends, tools, and algorithm updates.
- Experimenting with new features to expand reach
- Performs other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications
- Entry level – Must have experience with social media.
- Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, or equivalent scheduling applications
- Basic knowledge of video editing tools, such as Adobe Premiere
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva
- Well organized with strong planning skills.
- Solid written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong computer background
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects.
- Graphic Art/Commercial Art and publishing certifications or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively across several teams
Working Conditions: Physical effort (up to 25 pounds).
Physical Demands: Sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, handling,
hand/eye/foot coordination, repetitive motions, talking.
Physical Strength: Sedentary work. Occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 pounds.

Salary : $16 - $19
