Gejits Infotech Inc is seeking one experienced CAPPS/ PeopleSoft Developer with a minimum of 8 years of experience to join our team and work with a direct state client located in Austin, Texas.
This is a hybrid job in Austin, Texas.
Note: Client will only hire candidates currently within the surrounding areas of Austin, Texas.
Duration: Long Term.
Skills & Knowledge:
- 8 years required - Experience in PeopleSoft Application Development experience with PeopleCode, PeopleTools (including Application Designer and Application Engine), SQR, SQL
- 8 years required - Experience PeopleSoft Financials implementation and/or upgrade experience including software development of Contracts, ePro, GL, Payables, Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, and Commitment Control.
- 8 years required - Experience with Oracle
- 8 years required - Experience with Unix, Shell, and data migration
- 8 years required - Experience developing in a PeopleSoft 9.2 environment
- 8 years required - Experience developing reports with BI Publisher
- 3 years preferred - Experience in Jira & Agile methodologies
Job Responsibilities:
This contractor role is for a CAPPS/PeopleSoft Developer. This role will be responsible for performing analysis, programming services, system and report development and enhancements, interface development, and data migration to support the integration between CAPPS Financials and SCOR. Software development in PeopleCode, PeopleTools (including Application Designer and Application Engine), SQR, SQL, and Oracle. Supports application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode. Supports applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required. Maintaining code coverage, testing, and security policies and procedures is required. Available for on-call support as needed. Other duties as assigned and required by the unit operations.
