Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Produce Associate to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and freshness of produce while efficiently managing inventory and assisting with order fulfillment. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Duties
- Inspect and sort produce for quality and freshness, ensuring only the best products are available for customers.
- Utilize various equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks to move and organize products within the warehouse.
- Assist in order picking processes, ensuring accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, handling boxes of produce weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling products.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and equipment such as order pickers, forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus, enabling effective troubleshooting of equipment issues.
- Ability to perform light lifting consistently throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in all tasks performed.
- Good driving record

- Can pass drug tests
