What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Planning Analyst position at Gellert Global Group?

Summary/Objective:
The Sales Planning Analyst will support Senior Management, Sales, Operations, Customers and Finance. The ideal candidate will apply analytic principles to review and analyze transitions in sales cost to Senior Management. Candidate must be a collaborator who can work independently and can multi-task in a timely manner. The Sales Planning Analyst will also collaborate with the finance group and must have a financial background and be able to provide detailed data to support growth. This is not a remote position.
Essential Functions:
- Work closely and support Management, Sales personnel, Operations, Product managers and Finance
- Use the infor/M3 costing and pricing model to upload and review pricing.
- Ensure costing inputs and changes are made in a timely manner.
- Defines costing requirements internally
- Prepare and collaborate with supply chain, traffic, and others to ensure timely and accurate uploads of standardize costing into M3 system.
- Identify, research, and resolve cost issues.
- Gather customer information for specific and accurate costing
- Collaborates with internal parties preparing cost agreements
- Compiles proforma analysis and assist in RFP responses
- Maintain costing templates and conduct monthly/ quarterly / annual reviews with Sales and Operations support
- Ownership and maintenance of operational infor/M3 pricing analytical tools
- Streamline and improve business practices, including tools, templates, and processes, to increase the efficiency of the costing desk.
- Recommend and implement processes to improve productivity, increase efficiencies in the software
- Respond to all sales and finance inquiries in a timely manner
- Provide key performance metrics to management.
- Performs cost/price analyses, modeling, and estimates, consistent with company policies.
- Initiative-taking, problem-solving approach to errors and software issue
- Complete miscellaneous analytical projects and responsibilities as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Math or Business or related field
- 3 years related experience, food industry preferred
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong, productive relationships across functional groups
- Flexible self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Ability to manage multiple projects and internal and external demands; a sense of urgency
- Problem solver with well-developed organizational and time management skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced user of Excel
- Resilient; ability to cope with complex situations
- Knowledge of Infor M3 and Exceedra is a plus
