- Knows and follows all safety policies and procedures. Ensures that co-workers are also following safety rules.
- Commitment, awareness and involvement pertaining to ISO (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) and food safety practices (GMPs, procedures, etc.) are requirements of all employees.
- Performs Pre-Use inspections on all lift trucks prior to first use each shift.
- Safety operates forklift with all attachments – fork, turn-a-fork, clamp & probe
- When handling product, does so with care and does not cause damage to material or storage racks.
- Verifies product is packaged and labeled properly and works with on shift supervisor to get fixed if not correct before putting away.
- Keeps warehouse organized by moving products to assigned areas.
- Coordinates transporting finished material, work in process material, packaging and operating supplies from machine centers to other machine centers or the warehouse. This requires detailed communication and planning with on shift operators, supervisors, and machine schedules to ensure machines are never waiting for material.
- Assists with wrapping of materials off machines as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
- High school or equivalent (GED) education
- One or two years related experience and/or training
- At least one year of previous forklift experience required
- Valid driver's license required

- 12-hour shifts, 2-2-3 rotating schedule
