Qualifications, Education And Experience
Work primarily in a non-climate controlled indoor environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Hearing protection, safety shoes and vision protection required.
This role operates primarily in a manufacturing environment. Employee may be exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area during extremely hot summer months.

- Verify/keep record of incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipping.
- Entering current PO’s into the system.
- Compares and identifies information on BOL’s such as counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Keeping inventory of various items within the warehouse department ensuring no shortages occur.
- Unpack and examine incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and/or shortages.
- Scheduling of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Maintaining manifest and receiving roll stock.
- Set up scrap trailer swaps.
- Comply with departmental & job safety practices.
- Covers for others in department for vacation and call offs.
- Carry out tasks as assigned by Management.
- Other duties assigned by Management.
Qualifications, Education And Experience
- High School GED or Diploma
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited college preferred
- Two or three years of work experience in a related industry
- Must complete Safety Orientation, Departmental Safety Training and OSHA Standards Training
- Work experience with computers (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, iSeries, etc.) and other business equipment
- This position requires the annual completion of Hazardous Waste Management training – provided by ProAmpac
- Must have high attention to detail
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Having knowledge in supply chain management
- Flexibility to work on weekends and at nights
