Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process.
- Schedule appointments efficiently while considering patient needs and office availability.

- Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all necessary information is captured.
- Utilize computerized systems for patient data entry and retrieval.
- Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage.
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about services offered.
- Assist with the management of dental supplies and office inventory.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office or dental reception role is preferred.
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding and medical terminology is advantageous.
- Proficient in using computerized systems for documentation and record management.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
