Yard Hand/Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Yard Hand to join our team. The Yard Hand will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our yard and warehouse activities. This position involves various tasks related to moving materials, assisting with deliveries, and maintaining an organized work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks and containers.
• Move products within the yard and warehouse as needed.
• Ensure that all items are stored properly and safely.
• Operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks, for deliveries when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard area.
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and delivery personnel.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support route driving activities as needed to assist with deliveries.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or yard setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with moving, loading, and unloading materials is essential.
• Experience as a delivery driver or courier is a plus.
• Ability to operate commercial driving vehicles safely.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• A valid driver's license is required for operating company vehicles.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
