At Gem Prep our building administrators are instructional leaders in our buildings. In addition to traditional principal responsibilities and duties, we ask administrators to spend a majority of their day in classrooms coaching, mentoring and supporting teachers. Our passion is to provide students a transformational education giving them the knowledge, characteristics, competencies and mindsets for success in college and in the workplace. Our leaders are critical to ensure that this happens.
We are looking for a dedicated assistant principal to lead our secondary program, supervise our faculty, and ensure students can grow and learn in a safe and nurturing environment. We are looking for a strong, compassionate leader who has experience setting and enforcing learning opportunities, academic curriculum's, and student services that help our scholars realize their full potential.

Qualifications
MA., EdD., or PhD. in School Administration, or related field, or working toward achieving this level of education
Valid Idaho School Administrator Certificate. If you possess the qualities of a strong instructional leader, GP may employ you while you are actively obtaining your School Administrator Certification.
Data-based evidence of helping students achieve academic success.
Evidence of prior academic achievements, leadership experience, and organizational skills indicating very high potential to perform at this level.
