- Walk assigned neighborhoods and business districts, introduce Gem Prep’s plan, answer questions, and record feedback.
- Conduct one-on-one or small-group conversations—in homes and community spaces—to identify potential supporters.
- Maintain an accurate contact list of supporters, including notes on interests and availability.
- Draft and send personalized follow-up emails, texts, or phone calls to secure commitment for specific hearing dates.
- Organize pre-hearing briefing sessions (in-person or virtual) to coach volunteers on key talking points and hearing procedures.
- Coordinate transportation, meeting points, and seating so supporters present a unified, orderly presence at public meetings.
- Staff information tables at local events (farmers markets, service-club meetings, neighborhood gatherings) to broaden awareness.
- Distribute printed materials (door hangers, one-pagers) that explain Gem Prep’s mission and the benefits of the new campus.
- Provide weekly progress updates to the Growth Team (contacts made, commitments secured, issues raised).
- Collaborate with Gem Prep Growth Team to refine messaging and address community concerns promptly.
- Capture inquiries from interested families during canvassing or events and update the interest list.
- Provide basic program information, timeline details, and next-step guidance to prospective parents.
- Assist the marketing by distributing flyers/postcards at preschools, youth programs, and local businesses when outreach schedules allow.

The CC is not responsible for social-media management; the focus is direct, person-to-person engagement and logistical coordination. Wage is $15.00/hr.
