Position Overview :
Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technicians to join their leading steel manufacturing company. As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on steel mill equipment, troubleshooting 480V motors and controls , and ensuring operational efficiency across all systems. This full-time position requires working on rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
If you have 2 years of industrial or military electrical maintenance experience and a strong understanding of PLC systems , this role offers a chance to be a key player in ensuring the safety, integrity, and functionality of a large-scale manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform preventative and corrective electrical maintenance on steel mill equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair 480V motors and control systems .
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues on PLC systems for troubleshooting and program changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve electrical problems impacting production.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols , maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and operational procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, modifications, and system performance.
- Provide innovative solutions to challenges within the steel production process .
- Participate in on-call rotations for emergency maintenance.
