Position Title : Software Development Manager
Compensation : $115K - 140K plus 8% annual bonus and possible partial relo or sign-on bonus
Duration : Hybrid 50% in-office
Location : Denver, CO
Overview :
Our client has an immediate need for an Application Development Manager to lead the design, implementation, and support of internal and vendor-packaged solutions to enhance the core banking platform (Symitar) and other enterprise applications. This role oversees core developers, collaborates with business and IT teams, and optimizes operational efficiency through technology. The right candidate will be driven, with a passion for excellence, strong software engineering discipline, problem-solving skills, knowledge in Symitar PowerOn, as well as the ability to drive innovation and efficiency.
Essential Functions :
- Manage and supervise core development teams across scrum teams and business lines, including resource planning and allocation.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) and stakeholders for project delivery.
- Foster a team-oriented work environment that values diversity, teamwork, creativity, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead design, development, and governance practices to ensure efficient and high-quality software solutions.
- Implement continuous improvement processes, analyze feedback and performance metrics.
- Define design patterns, review code, and ensure compliance with coding, security, and information standards.
- Work with external vendors to integrate solutions and influence application architecture strategy.
