Senior High Voltage Engineer
Position Title : Sr High Voltage Engineer
Compensation : $125K - 155K
Duration : Onsite 5 days a week
Location : Huntersville, NC
Overview :
Our client, a well-known, family-owned company in the energy sector is seeking a Senior Design Engineer with a proven track record of working with high voltage, wiring and cable. In this role, you will assist the engineering manager in leading and training the HV cable team as well as perform complex engineering tasks with expertise in electrical and high-voltage systems.
Responsibilities :
- Define technical specs, documentation, and integration for customers.
- Prepare engineering drawings, production specs, and contract modifications.
- Develop application notes and test applications.
- Design HV cable systems (69kV 500kV), including accessories and grounding.
- Analyze electro-mechanical behavior for installation support.
- Prepare specifications, proposals, and safety documents; optimize processes.
- Support manufacturing with testing plans and troubleshooting.
- Lead engineering investigations, R&D projects, and budget management.
- Represent engineering in meetings, training, and industry events.
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure workplace safety.

Salary : $125,000 - $155,000
