The NNSA's Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), located in Los Alamos, New Mexico, is a design laboratory responsible for the safety and reliability of the nuclear explosives package in nuclear weapons. This lab possesses unique capabilities in neutron scattering, enhanced surveillance, radiography, and plutonium science and engineering (energy.gov).

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Specialist for Technical Reports to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory. This full-time position will be based out of Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Responsibilities:
- Assist LANL with their Technical Report Collection review and Inventory Management tasks.
- Distribute and sort LANL's historical technical report collection.
- Review technical reports for classification and appropriate distribution levels.
- Prepare technical reports for offsite storage.
- Index technical reports.
- Create inventories and perform data entry.
- Enter information in library information management as well as records management systems.
- Prepare materials for shipping.
- Destruct discarded materials.
Requirements:
- Education & Years of Experience -Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant experience
- Citizenship - To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work
- Clearance - To be considered, you must have an active or very recently active DOE "Q" Clearance or DoD "Top Secret" Clearance.
- Must be able to lift print materials and/or archival boxes up to 25 pounds and push book carts.
- Must be familiar with and have used Microsoft Excel.
- Must have a keen attention to detail.
