Security Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility.
Education/Training Required:
- Government certification in Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) required.
- Associates degree in Electronics or related field, or equivalent military training required.

Experience Required:
In general, TSCM experience covers time worked in a position with TSCM duties from the point of Government certification. May be able to substitute up to one year of time prior to TSCM certification if it can be shown that the time included TSCM related duties.
- Level 1 – 0 to 3 years of TSCM experience.
- Level 2 – 3 to 7 years of TSCM experience.
- Level 3 – 7 years of TSCM experience.
Job Description/ Roles-Responsibilities: **
Provide a broad range of support Technical Security. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Leads and assists with Technical Surveillance Countermeasures including construction security.
- Performs research, selection, modification, design, maintenance, and/or the development of Technical Security equipment and systems.
- Independently and as part of a team, reviews, analyzes, and resolves difficult and complex technical security problems.
- Resolves or recommends solutions to overlapping and conflicting security requirements by utilizing knowledge, skills, and abilities, including the ability to interpret various directives, rules, and regulations.
- May act as a subject matter expert, requiring formal and independent learning and the ability to translate this expertise into recommendations in specific circumstances.
- Communicates orally with customers and groups on technical security related issues.
- Writes reports to document mission events, research findings, procedures, and other technical security related issues.
Task Area Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Must be capable of rigorous physical exertion, including regular and recurring physical tasks such as climbing ladders and crawling under raised decks, as well as standing and kneeling for long periods of time.
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50lbs, lift items overhead, possess visual and auditory acuity including the ability to discern colors, possess fine motor skills, and engage in extensive walking.
