Gem is looking for a sharp, creative, and highly opinionated operator to help orchestrate and accelerate our top-of-funnel engine. As a member of our Bizops team, in this role you’ll sit at the intersection of Marketing and Sales - owning high-impact growth projects that improve how we attract, qualify, and convert leads. If you’ve scaled GTM or growth programs at a high-growth tech company before and love working cross-functionally to achieve measurable and impactful outcomes - this role is for you.
This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role designed for someone who gets energy from solving hard problems, writing compelling copy, and experimenting with new ideas across channels. You’ll join a small but mighty in-office Bizops team based in SF, and work closely with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to launch initiatives that move the needle.

What You’ll Do Day-to-day
- Drive a unified top-of-funnel strategy and program execution - across outbound and various marketing channels (e.g. web, digital ads, etc…) - to drive qualified pipeline
- Optimize our website as a growth surface, running conversion-focused experiments testing and optimizing messaging, trials, and customer/prospect journeys
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to build and test outbound campaigns that are tightly orchestrated, personalized, and scalable
- Write and refine high-impact copy across channels - emails, ads, pages, and more - to drive engagement and conversion
- Launch AI-driven experiments and own an AI-focused tools stack (e.g., scalable personalization, campaign automation, or lead routing)
- Define success metrics, measure impact, and rapidly iterate based on data and learnings
- 4-8 years of experience - our Bizops team has typically had foundational experience in management consulting or investment banking, with additional industry experience at a technology company or startup
- Prior experience in a founder, growth marketing, or other top-of-funnel role a plus
- Experience leading complex and ambiguous strategic/operational initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - experience writing copy and crafting effective customer-facing content, with proven ability to manage/influence cross-functional groups
- Strong business intuition and understanding of key business drivers and operating metrics
- Highly analytical, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to extract insights from data. Experience with SQL or other querying languages required
- Strong sense of initiative & ownership - you’re proactive and display a clear bias for action; you’re comfortable working autonomously and prioritizing the highest impact work-streams
