Service Advisor

Gemba Automotive is growing and is now hiring Service Writer to join our Team. We are looking for customer savvy, sales growth oriented individuals who want to grow with our company.

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service Writer. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and coordinating automotive repair services. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in explaining their vehicle's issues or maintenance needs
- Transmit customer requests and vehicle information to the service technicians
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance services
- Schedule appointments and coordinate service timelines
- Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and any additional repairs needed
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of payments received
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or questions promptly
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
- Maintain knowledge of automotive repair processes, including auto body repair, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, brake repair, shocks, and struts

Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers and service technicians
- Knowledge of automotive repair terminology and processes is a plus
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and record keeping

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
