Responsibilities
- Perform polishing and finishing tasks on various components to ensure high-quality standards.
- Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to achieve desired surface finishes.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and workflows.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Requirements
- Polish metal, wood, plastic, and other materials to remove scratches, marks or imperfections.
- Operate polishing and buffing tools, machines, and hand tools safety and efficiently.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and client specifications.
- Maintain clean workspaces and tools to prevent contamination or damage.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear proper protective equipment.
- Assist with packaging, labeling, or finishing tasks as needed.
- Report any defects, equipment malfunctions, or quality issues to the supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Polishing experience
- Able to identify different materials, finishes, and grades.
- Able to identify visible defects.
- Able to follow directions and work well without direct supervision.
- Able to operate material handling equipment safely.
