THE ROLE
We’re looking for a highly skilled web developer with expertise in conversion tracking, analytics implementation, and data accuracy. This contract, hourly position focuses on ensuring the highest level of precision in tracking traffic, form submissions, and marketing performance across websites.
PROJECTS INCLUDE
- Implement and optimize form tracking and conversion event tracking across various CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.)
- Set up and refine Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and other tracking tools
- Troubleshoot and fix discrepancies in conversion tracking, pixel fires, and event triggers
- Implement server-side tracking solutions and first-party data strategies as third-party cookies phase out
- Stay ahead of changes like iOS privacy updates, Google’s Privacy Sandbox, and GDPR/CCPA compliance
- Ensure accurate multi-channel marketing attribution for paid and organic campaigns
- Work closely with our marketing team to verify and validate tracking across ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Provide documentation and best practices for future-proofing tracking solutions
REQUIRMENTS
- 5 years of experience in web development with a focus on tracking and analytics
- Expert in Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Meta (Facebook) Pixel
- Skilled in JavaScript and Data Layer setup for advanced tracking implementations
- Experienced with server-side tracking, first-party data strategies, and Conversion APIs
- Strong understanding of cookie-less tracking solutions and privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, iOS updates, etc.)
- Analytical and detail-oriented—you don’t just set up tracking, you validate and troubleshoot it
- Able to communicate complex tracking solutions to non-technical teams
Salary : $150
