Industrial Engineer Responsibilities:
- Lead the definition and implementation of manufacturing efficiency initiatives in alignment with company priorities and strategies.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing management team to develop and standardize the improvement tools and strategies used at Gemini.
- Assist leadership team in the creation of metrics and a reporting structure that measures operational efficiency across all functional areas.
- Work with departments, such as manufacturing and assembly, to identify bottlenecks and areas of opportunity to improve metrics such as overall lead-time and on-time delivery.
- Partner with managers to lead process improvement events that include employees throughout the organization.
- Responsible for managing a cross-functional team and multiple continuous improvement projects.
- Generate itemized CapEx and expense planning for projects in coordination with managers in various facilities.
- Drive to project milestones and scope and communicate regularly with stakeholders.
- Control changes in scope, identify and mitigate potential challenges, and drive projects to completion.
Industrial Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in manufacturing or industrial engineering preferred. (Would consider someone without a degree who meets all the other qualifications).
- Up to 5 yrs. of process improvement experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Up to5 yrs. of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on custom or job-oriented production processes.
- Project Management experience preferred.
- Solid collaboration skills.
- Microsoft Project or similar applications experience.
- Must be able to periodically travel to York Haven and Philadelphia locations (approx. 15%).
- Solid written and oral communication skills
Salary : $62,500 - $84,400
