Part-time Custodian

Gemini is currently seeking a part-time custodian to join our team in Fallon, NV. This is a 1st shift position with scheduling flexibility. Our ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail with openness and flexibility to work around the plant.

Job Function  

Under limited supervision, the individual performs a variety of routine custodial duties in company common areas of the plant and grounds as instructed.  

Specific Job Duties   

   1. Sweep floors or vacuum rugs and carpets as required, emptying all waste containers, and places refuse in proper receptacles.    

   2. Cleans inside and outside windows as required.  

 3. Cleans all restrooms daily, restocking towels, paper, soap, and supplies, as needed.  

 4. Strips wax from floors periodically, and reapply wax, as required.  

 5. Cleans lunchrooms daily, including microwaves and refrigerators, as needed.  

 6. Notifies appropriate party in the event of a need for major repairs on furniture, equipment or facilities.  

 7. May perform maintenance duties on company grounds outside of the building as required.  

 8. May remove snow from sidewalks as necessary, applying sand and salt on such, insuring safe access to plant doors.  

 9. Maintains a positive working relationship with all employees and superiors.  

10. Notifies supervisor when in need of additional cleaning supplies, as required.  

11. Performs all duties in a safe manner, and advises supervisor of potentially unsafe conditions observed in the buildings.  

12. Performs reasonably similar duties as assigned or directed.   

Requirements  

• High School diploma or GED  or demonstrated competency through work experience
