Qualifications
Waterborne Associate - El Reno, Oklahoma
***THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION***
Summary:
To fill Gemini products in appropriate containers based on batch ticket information.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Be able to read all batch tickets thoroughly and have a clear understanding of appropriate containers to use.
- Understand different fill levels and how to accurately fill to appropriate level.
- Be able to effectively fill a floor batch. (Gravity fill, floor tub and pump, etc...)
- Know how to clean tubs and ensure there is not any residue left from previous batch in fill tub or floor tub.
- Be able to complete a pour up from start to finish.
- Be able to print batch stickers and understand their purpose/meaning.
- Understand what QC checks are needed for each batch.
- Count finished containers and enter information in the ERP system.
- Have an understanding of the still and hazardous waste and how to properly handle various wastes.
- Drive a forklift to take finished product to correct locations.
- Follow all safety rules and assure work practices are in the guidelines of OSHA standards.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all company rules and policies.
- Be able to work as part of a team and alone.
- Work with employee owners to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain a positive attitude in all situations.
- Report for all scheduled shifts on time and return from breaks and lunches in a timely manner.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Basic Math skills
- Effective communication skills (i.e. reading and writing)
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Basic computer skills
- Possess a high work ethic, moral and personal integrity, and honesty.
- Exemplify professionalism in personal appearance, manner and dress according to acceptable standards set by the company.
- Efficiently manage your time
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
