Outcomes:
The successful candidate is expected to accomplish the following outcomes the first year in the position:
- Provide strong analytical and problem-solving skills in data analysis and visualization, coupled with exceptional communication skills, so that the Space Force Headquarters Executive Secretariat (SF/DSS) provides seamless support for all senior leader engagements.
- Support the development of Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) dashboard projects and assess opportunities for growth, innovation, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with government to devise innovative solutions, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and bring various perspectives to the processes and reporting.
- Perform accurate, high quality, and timely work which leads to positive feedback from the government.
Responsibilities:
- The Headquarters, United States Space Force (HQ USSF) and the Director of Staff (HQSF/DS) require assistance in organizational planning, implementation, maturation, and strengthening of the Space Force. Integral in this effort is the leadership and support provided by the Executive Secretariat (SF/DSS) that directly supports the Deputy Director of Staff.
- The DSS provides tactical support for all ongoing tasks and ensures seamless support for all senior leader engagements.
- The DDS also supports the development of ETMS2 dashboard projects and assess opportunities for growth, innovation and efficiency across the HQ USSF.
- The DDS devises innovative solutions, fosters a culture of continuous improvement, and brings various perspectives to all processes and reporting.
Qualifications:
The candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Secret security clearance
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in applying analytical and evaluative methods to identify process improvements and provide solutions.
- Proven expertise in data analysis, including data visualization, data management, data integrity, and dashboard development (DAX Programming is a plus)
- Proficiency in the MS Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and Power Pages
- Experience with SQL, SharePoint, and Excel
- Ability to optimize data processes, address data-related issues, and transition manual reports into automated, interactive Power BI dashboards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on maximizing insights and minimizing disruptions to operations
- Exceptional communication skills, able to provide written and oral communication to various stakeholders to ensure they know how to run and optimize the produced products
