The Plans and Assessments Support is expected to achieve the following outcomes:
The position will demonstrate expertise with all aspects of the deliberate and contingency planning processes. This includes the application of the JOPP and Joint Operation Planning and Execution System during the development and maintenance of USCENTCOM plans. Contractor Subject matter expert must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in a discipline applicable to the effort; a demonstrated knowledge of DOD organizations and agencies, experience with operations supporting a Combatant Command Headquarters, Service Component Staff, or other government agency equivalent headquarters, and experience as a senior level professional on a multi-disciplinary team.
The position will support high visibility CWMD planning efforts to include multi-lateral and bi-lateral engagements and planning. Coordinates and directs CWMD assessments. Provide technical support to directorate input to the Deputy Commander-approved Joint Quarterly Readiness Review and provides
CWMD-related input. Analyzes results of planning, studies, and evaluations to make planning and programmatic recommendations to Service Component Commands to improve overall Component-level CWMD execution planning. Provide support to the CBRN Response contingency planning interfacing with DoD, Interagency and International CWMD operational planning organizations. Conducts studies and analysis of DoD CWMD plans and makes recommendations on existing and new operations and authorities, increasing DoD capability for CBRN response. Serve as subject matter expert in working with USCENTCOM partner nations in CWMD capacity building and planning efforts. Coordinates with Security Cooperation desk officers on programs to provide CWMD-related support to international partners. Provides strategy, plans, and policy advice and subject matter expertise to U.S. forces, allies, and partners.
The position will participate in the development of overall joint system concepts, designs and technical approaches to meet broadly stated requirements and objectives. The position will support top-level system analysis, perform trade studies, perform technical optimizations, and develop draft high-level designs. The position will support complex operations or technical documentation, conduct reviews and presentations. The position will participate in all phases of joint system review and development
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience.
