The successful candidate is expected to accomplish the following outcomes:
Develop visualization/web applications for mission critical projects.
Design and develop visualization/web applications for CDM, contributing to all aspects of the product development and release life cycle.
Develop visualization/web applications based on principles and methodologies of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA).
Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist in planning and maintaining Knowledge Management (KM) services.
Develop solutions based on. a thorough understanding of relational database design and optimization.
Design, implement, test, and configure SharePoint, Portal and EIS capabilities; instruct customers on how to access these services.
Provide all aspects of the software development process including requirements gathering, design, implementation, debugging, and testing.
Assist clients with KM Programs (records management, PA, Visualization, administrative communications, IMTs and other support functions).
Identify the need to upgrade or enhance system component capabilities in response to data management, data linkages and data visualization.
Apply troubleshooting and data analysis methods to resolve operating problems. Respond to customer issues with guidance and training to ensure resolution.
Plan, schedule, conduct, and facilitate Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) projects to evaluate and recommend ways to improve program productivity.
Adapt analytical techniques and evaluate criteria to the measurement and improvement of program effectiveness and/or organizational productivity.
Discover abstract linkages between various mission concepts/information and provide recommendations/solutions for enabling visualization and discovery of related concepts.
Qualifications:
The candidate must have the following qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of program related issues and problems.
Demonstrated experience with Knowledge Management (KM) principles, concepts, systems, and tools.
Experience with configuration management concepts and life cycle management concepts.
Knowledge of methods and procedures for documenting problem analysis and resolutions sufficient to maintain records of activities.
Knowledge of military and Intelligence Community organization.
Ability to work on high-visibility and mission critical taskings independently.
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
Travel: Some travel may be required
