Responsibilities:
Training Support Lead supports DTRA Strategic Integration Information Resilience Office (SI-IRO). Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Curriculum Development:
o Develop, evaluate, and recommend training requirements, objectives, and decision criteria for each curriculum in accordance with OSD Policy and IRO Guidance.
o Create detailed schedules for training curricula, including milestones and options, and present them in clear, concise formats using Microsoft Suite.
o Develop and maintain training materials, including lesson plans, student guides, and instructor guides, ensuring accessibility for DTRA personnel.
- Mission Analysis and Course of Action (COA) Development:
o Support mission analysis and develop and evaluate COAs as required to enhance training initiatives.
o Provide actionable recommendations for improving training programs based on analysis and feedback.
- Logistics and Coordination:
o Coordinate meetings and assist with logistics for training events.
o Assemble and distribute training materials and curriculum updates in collaboration with stakeholders.
o Provide on-site support during training events, including setting up equipment, managing logistics, and offering technical assistance.
- Presentation and Data Analysis:
o Prepare PowerPoint presentations, including informational and decisional briefings for working group meetings.
o Use Microsoft Suite tools to capture, analyze, and present quantitative data in a clear, concise format.
- Program Evaluation:
o Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of training programs through pre- and post-training assessments.
o Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance training outcomes.
- Communication and Translation:
o Communicate effectively with DTRA personnel, both orally and in writing.
o Coordinate the translation of training materials as needed to support foreign partner training.
Qualifications:
The candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree preferred.
- A certification of School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), Joint Advanced Warfighting School (JAWS).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in program management, preferably in support of U.S. Government programs.
- Expertise in training curriculum development and evaluation.
- Strong organizational and logistical coordination skills.
- Analytical skills for assessing training effectiveness and recommending improvements.
Skills:
- Experience with DoD training programs and international training initiatives.
- Knowledge of CWMD and related defense topics.
- Familiarity with OSD Policy and IRO Guidance.
Travel: Occasional Local and US Travel anticipated
