Job Requirements

Job Summary
To assist with PTR (Production Trial Run) process. To Prepare PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist with PTR process.
- Complete PPAP customer sample submission packages (including CPK studies and gage verification studies) 18 elements and or customer specific requirements.
- Maintain working knowledge of customer specific PPAP requirements.
- Assist in completion of FMEA’s (Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) and Control Plans.
- Perform and verify statistical and gage capability of new/revised products or processes.
- Appropriately identify parts for the initial production sample.
- Assist with Quality Document Control, including blueprints and quality records.
- Prepare and maintain files in computer database for Interim and full approval.
- Utilize international website databases for material submission (IMDS) and other customer specific sites.
- Identify parts requiring special paperwork on first shipment IPP tags, etc. Prepare first shipment IPP tags.
- Travel and meet with customers as required, including audits.
- Process Raw Files from new part kick off.
- Sample board maintenance – creation of new sample
- Internal Auditing
- Assist the Quality Assurance Manager with his/her duties.
