Position Summary:
As a Business Analyst/Project Manager (BA/PM) you will be the face of the projects under the umbrella of the organization serving as a liaison between the stakeholders and technical team. The responsibilities include handling projects along with incident and problem management, plan, direct and monitor the work being produced by the team.
Required Skill Sets:
- 7 Years of hands-on experience in the IT industry, with a strong focus on data analysis, modeling, and technology solutions.
- Understanding of multi-tiered applications, including software components, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment environments.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel, VBA, SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, and Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
- Experience in driving and managing the efficient resolution of daily incidents, minimizing service quality impact, and collaborating with cross-domain teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to capture data and conduct in-depth analysis.
- Proven track record in creating and recording incident tickets, ensuring data quality, and adherence to defined incident & problem management processes.
- Attention to detail in identifying gaps in existing processes and implementing effective remedies.
- Expertise in conducting root cause analysis (RCA) reviews, publishing reports, and providing known error workarounds for critical issues.
- Ability to report on incident & problem management trends, change metrics, and system availability.
- Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, Power BI, and O365 (PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
- Documentation and knowledge base creation to establish SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for critical issues, empowering clients to self-resolve.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic environment with changing requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal business communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment where time to delivery and/or resolution is short.
- Sense of ownership and self-starter attitude
Good To Have:
- Experience in the Financial domain is a strong plus, particularly in underwriting analysis, sales data optimization, and product inventory management.
- Willingness to learn Python and SQL for data analysis and advanced reporting.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn about cloud technologies like AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.
- Commitment to learning new technologies to stay updated with industry trends and tools.
PMP Certification or equivalent project management credentials.
Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
