Job Summary:

Contractor personnel shall provide Logistics services assistance to IFRCO at Red Stone Arsenal – Huntsville, AL and Gemini Tech Services by using basic and advanced program functions to perform operations which include managing procurement, maintenance, and transportation of military material, facilities and personnel. The major performance areas are equipment procurement and maintenance.

Essential Functions:

• Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) of equipment such as generators (1kW, 2kW, 5kW, 30kW, 60kW), HMMWV, LMTV, FMTV, M-916

• Powering equipment on, charging batteries, checking functionality, replacing air/oil filters, road testing, recording of results within logistics database -Initial checkout of vehicles and equipment acquired by program.

• Minor testing/troubleshooting of vehicles and equipment

• Operation of outdoor forklifts

• Operation of tactical vehicles and equipment to include road tests.

• Required to work outdoors for extended periods of time.

• Maintaining a PMCS Schedule

• Coordination with base motor pool and government customers for repair of vehicles and equipment -Refueling of vehicles and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship.

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• Military Logistics experience - 5 years required.

• Army Logistics experience – 5 years preferred.

• Requires a valid Class C driver's license with an "Acceptable" driving record.

• Forklift Certified preferred.

• Required to lift boxes/cases up to 40LBS.

• Requires a valid Class C driver's license with an "Acceptable" driving record.

• Customer service oriented and possess good communication and mathematical skills.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance.

Employment type: Full-time / Salary / Exempt

Salary: $72,453.42 Annual
