Hours :
Wednesday- 12pm-630pm (Assist Cook in kitchen)
Thursday - 1030am -630pm (Dietary Assistant duties)
Friday- 1030am-630pm (Dietary Assistant duties)
Sunday -10am-630pm (Assist Cook in Kitchen)
Total hours per week is 30
You Must have a valid driver's license, be serve safe certified and have cooking experience.
This position is responsible for assisting with preparing and serving food and related cleaning duties to support the agency's Food Services operations; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; complying with operating policies and procedures established for the assigned function; communicating with appropriate personnel; responding to inquiries or requests for information; maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports.
- Assures overall sanitation of the kitchen and all designated equipment therein, including completing the daily, weekly, and monthly assigned cleaning list for Weinmann, Hess, and Harrison.
- Assists with properly washing and storing dishes, tableware, pots, pans, and other utensils used in food preparation and serving.
- Thoroughly cleans the dining area after each meal.
- Assists with food deliveries, including putting away and rotating food and paper supplies, and servicing various vending machines located throughout the campus.
- Assists the Cook and other Dietary Assistant(s) with related tasks to ensure a successful mealtime, including meal preparation and serving of meals when needed, as well as dairy food preparation.
- Education / Training : A high school diploma or equivalent; specialized training related to food preparation.
- Skill(s) : knowledge of food preparation and related standards and procedures, including cleaning techniques and chemicals; visual and auditory skills; ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, climb, and lift items weighing 25 lbs. or less.
- Experience : A minimum of one (1) year of related experience normally required.
