part time Social Worker
Needed to be on campus Monday-Friday. 4 hours a day.
- Assesses youth for psychological contraindications to the use of any of the agency’s behavior management techniques.
- Accessible on-site based on the youth's clinical needs
- Evaluate residents (existing, new and prospective) based on their needs, limitations and desires
- Address residents concerns and goals while maintaining constant communication with the residents as well as case worker
- Build rapport with residents and their families
- Coordinate care with PT and OT when necessary
- Develop care plans for residents
- Encourage residents to maintain a healthy lifestyle, talk about their feelings while learning to deal with any illness and past traumas
- Maintain a valid LSW (licensed social worker) or LISW (licensed independent social worker)
- Ability to make psychosocial assessments and develop and implement care plan
- Provide after hour service if needed as well as video conferencing
- Social worker requirements for employment include bachelors or masters degree in social work
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
