what you’ll be up to - essential functions
- Processes requests and updates the team on the status of orders.
- Researches, selects, and purchases quality products and materials.
- Develops and maintains relationships with wholesalers and suppliers.
- Updates inventory in our systems to ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels.
- Arranges transport of goods and tracks orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Assesses the quality of stock received and escalates any discrepancies to suppliers and leadership.
- Works hand-in-hand with our farm to communicate changes, new programs, samples, substitutions, and any other updates initiated by the area.
- Reviews the farm’s purchase document weekly and develops strategies for future purchases with the pods.
- Assists with the creation of transfer documents between warehouses and the coordination of shipments.
- Works closely with our product and samples area to support new items or programs, creating item codes on our system, coordinating mockups with the vendors, and ensuring flowers and hardgoods arrive on time.
- Creates and processes weekly reports to review upcoming sample shipping and overall purchasing needs.
- Reviews and processes incoming hardgoods PO’s.
- Analyzes market trends and applies this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions.

- Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in procurement or related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with group members, clients, and suppliers.
- Understanding of purchase order software platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Critical thinking and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work according to Operations & Product needs on-site.
- Able to thrive in both independent and collaborative work environments.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
