Position Overview
Work in various positions including but not limited to moving and docking trailers, unloading product from trailers and loading trailers with product
General Responsibilities & Duties
- Must be able to move trailers at the rate required by production and shipping or as determined by members of management
- Must adhere to all safety requirements in accordance with your safety training.
- Must be willing and able to perform other tasks in other areas or departments as directed by members of management.
Qualifications
- Must be attentive and able to pay attention to details
- Must be able to comprehend simple instructions and apply common sense.
- Must be able to work in cool temperatures (around 32 degrees).
- Must be able to sit or stand and use hands for 8-10 hours per day.
- Must be able to multitask and work quickly.
- Must be a team player and be willing to work closely with other employees.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must have good hand and eye coordination.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time over the course of an 8-10 hour workday.
- Must be able to withstand the use of your hands, arms, and wrists in a repetitive motion for an 8-10 hour workday.
- Must be able to bend and/or twist your body as necessary to complete your work assignment.
- Must be able to climb ladders.
- Must be able to kneel, stoop, and/or crouch.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
