Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current active and unrestricted Missouri registered nurse license
- At least 2 years of clinical experience working as a RN in an area that requires training and hands-on experience in infusion therapies, OR
- At least 1 year of clinical experience as a RN working in the area noted above, with IV start, maintenance, and infusion experience.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support for Health Care Professionals.
- Leadership qualities or experience in nursing leadership
Qualifications
- Demonstrated competency in and knowledge of Infusion Nurses Society (INS) standards required for safe delivery of services along with exemplary vascular access skills applicable to Gen 3 IV Hydration and Wellness programs and service needs.
- Working knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering routine and special treatments to patients.
- Valid Driver’s License and proof of liability insurance with access to a vehicle for business travel.
- Basic knowledge of computer operating systems and software applications with the ability to apply knowledge and assimilate to the various nursing technology tools utilized by Gen 3 IV Hydration and Wellness to communicate and document care.
- Able to communicate clearly with patients, caregivers, healthcare team, physicians, administrators and others.
- Working knowledge of all infection control procedures and safety precautions.
- Proven experience in healthcare management or clinic operations.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage, train, and delegate tasks to staff.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Experience in compliance management and a thorough understanding of healthcare regulations.

Job Description Summary:
The Practice Manager will oversee the daily operations of our IV Hydration and Wellness Practice. The Practice Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient practice operations, exceptional patient care, compliance with healthcare regulations, staff management, business development and financial management. Key responsibilities include financial oversight, patient care coordination, hiring staff and onboarding, quality improvement efforts, ensuring safe practice standards are met, firing and disciplinary action of staff, and patient management. The practice manager will have excellent leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care and service. Job Responsibilities:
- Financial Reconciliation: Manage cash and POS transaction reconciliations, ensuring accuracy across systems.
- Compliance Management: Maintain up-to-date compliance records, organizing documentation annually for easy access and reference.
- Supply Management: Oversee ordering of clinic supplies, including skincare and supplement products, emergency medications, and vitamins, while delegating tasks as appropriate.
- Event and Meeting Coordination: Plan and execute employee meetings and in-house events, with the ability to delegate tasks to relevant team members.
- Performance Management: Conduct employee evaluations and oversee monthly evaluations for nurse practitioners, ensuring consistent performance feedback.
- SOP Review and Training: Regularly update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure employee compliance through ongoing education and training programs.
- Certifications and Ordering: Organize and ensure completion of necessary certifications and ordering processes.
- On-Call Management: Oversee the use of on-call services, ensuring patients are properly added to the system.
- Scheduling and Training: Oversee employee scheduling, training, and onboarding, with the ability to delegate as needed. Conduct in-person interviews and delegate tasks to staff as needed, with the support of senior leadership.
- Executive Meetings: Participate in weekly executive meetings to provide updates and support clinic leadership.
- Chart Audits: Conduct regular chart audits to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with healthcare standards.

Physical Demand Requirements:
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Fine motor skills and visual acuity are also required. (Ability to see up close and at a distance, ability to discern color and/or shades, peripheral vision and depth perception required with ability to adjust.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, crouch, kneel, turn, pivot, balance, stoop, reach overhead, grasp, push, pull and carry.
- Infusion RNs have a high likelihood of occupational exposure to blood, body fluids and other potentially infectious materials. Exposure to potentially hazardous substances is possible which could have possible effect on reproduction. Possible injury from needles, other sharps, fumes, chemicals, humidity, cold, heat, adverse weather elements, animals, secondhand smoke/vape and other home environmental conditions.
- Safety requirements must be followed including, but not limited to, closed toe shoes, facemask, gown, gloves, goggles when indicated and RN must have a functioning communication device in both routine and emergency situations.
Travel Requirements:
- Willing to travel on occasion for events/home infusions.
- Willing to travel between multiple Gen 3 IV Hydration and Wellness stores on occasion.
Full Time Requirements:
- Attend all scheduled staff meetings
- Attend all weekly executive team meetings
- Meet the required number of hours per month (144-160), ideally working 36-40 hours per week
- Work complete shifts as much as possible, no shift splitting unless approved
- Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday and every other Saturday required for a period of time, with the possibility of change as the practice expands.
- Training new staff members
- 4 weeks (28 day) notice if terminating employment
- On call for employee call ins and customer complaints and employee questions and concerns
- On call hours required for DPC patients, (shared responsibility between staff members)
- Designated employees are required to be on-call during their scheduled times to address urgent matters.
- On-call duties include responding to employee call-ins, customer complaints, and addressing employee questions and concerns promptly.
Sick Time:
- 7 sick days will be allowed per calendar year
- At least 4 hours’ notice will be given when calling in unless emergent circumstances arise
Vacation Time:
- 10 days paid vacation
- Must submit vacation request at least 6 weeks prior to requested days off

Salary:

Pertinent Information:
This clinic is expected to open between December 2024 and February 2025. We will provide training for the right candidate at our current location in Blue Springs, Missouri, prior to the new clinic's opening. The new location is at 418 NW Legacy Dr. Kansas City, Missouri, 64155, next to Third Street Social. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to grow with our company as we expand and will assist with pre-opening preparations and training. The ideal candidate will work closely with the executive team and must be highly driven, hardworking, dependable, trustworthy, and fully committed to our mission.
