What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fund Accounting Intern position at Gen II?
The intern will work alongside private equity fund administration teams. Primary duties may include:
- Cash processing and bank reconciliations
- Record journal entries
- Maintain general ledger
- Prepare and set up workpapers and checklists
- Prepare financial statements and footnotes
- Administrative duties as assigned
Internship Qualifications/Requirements:
- College Sophomores, Juniors, or Seniors in good academic standing
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
- Paid internship - $24 hourly
- Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communication and time management skills
