Job Title: Rental Technician l Level 1
Reports to: Service Manager
Learning period: 90-days
Must possess a positive attitude, good customer Rental skills, present a professional image, observe all company safety regulations, follow employee handbook guidelines and policy and procedures.
Essential Duties:
- Maintenance, repair, fueling of Rental Customer generators and compressors.
- Preventative maintenance, load bank, and field repairs of 10kW–320kW generators.
- Generator Controls: H Panel, Voltage Regulator.
- Transfer Switch: Diagnostic/repair on all brands.
- Assist Senior Technicians with field Rental repairs.
- Delivery, pick-up, and set-up of generators, light towers, cable and accessories.
- Working knowledge of D/C and A/C electrical systems
- Working knowledge of Diesel, Natural Gas, LP Vapor engine maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.
- Load bank and NFPA110/Life Safety

Requirements
- Engine small bore.
- RV, Portable, Air-Cooled Generators.
- Commercial I, II Certifications.
- 1-year FT4 experience or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
- Be able to communicate (in English) verbally and in writing,
- Knowledge of load banks, NFPA 110/ Life Safety
- Valid driver’s license – Clean driving record.
- Consistent attendance.
- Ability to work after hours
- US citizenship or authorized to work in US
- High School Diploma, GED – Preferred
- Ability to pass Background check, Physical and Drug screen
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
